HANULIK: Hanulikova.

Deborah Malisher Korting is a descendent of Jan Hanulik. For a family tree,click here for Jan Hanulik (Born 1853 in Predmier Slovakia) family Tree.

The Hanulik family emigrated from Predmier Slovakia in the first decade after 1900. The family seems to have first lived in the USA in the Pittsburgh area, specially Springdale Pennsylvania.

It appears that the two specialists in the Hanulik family tree are Jaroslav Vokoun and Miro Martinicky. Both of these two people live in Slovakia.

Malisher - Malicher - Malicherova:

Prior to about 1920, the Malisher family name was spelled "Malicher". The Malicher family tree includes Slovak ancestors from (and cousins in) the village of Turzovka in Slovakia.

The Malicher family left Turzovka about 1905 and settled in Springdale Pennsylvania. Matus (Matthew) Malicher came first, then later came his wife Barbara Bohacik Malicher and two children, Joseph and Paul (Pavol) came to the USA about 1911.

Matthew Malicher and is wife Barbara were buried in St. Clement Cemetary, Bakerstown Road. Tarentum, Pennsylvania 15084. Their stones read:

MALICHER, Barbara, 1885-1917
MALICHER, Matthew, 1879-1923, Father
It was said by Warren Malisher that  Barbara died in the Flu epidemic of 1917.
